Pricing
A real free plan, and a paid plan priced on the two things worth counting. At the free cap the call stops rather than your card — and the whole substrate is MIT, so running it yourself is always the other answer.
Free
For one project, and for finding out whether shared memory changes how your agents work.
No credit card. The free plan is a real plan, not a trial.
- 5,000 recorded turns / month
- 500 search and list calls / month
- 1 active project
- The whole substrate — nothing is gated
- Sending stops at the cap, not your card
Usage
For real work across several projects, billed by what your agents actually did.
Every account starts on Free and upgrades from the dashboard. A quiet month bills nothing.
Already have an account?- Everything in Free, uncapped
- $1.50 per 1,000 recorded turns
- $0.30 per 1,000 search and list calls
- $5 per active project / month, first free
- Calls go through at the cap; the month is billed
Enterprise
For a higher ceiling, procurement, and terms that need a signature rather than a checkout.
Volume and terms agreed up front.
- Everything in Usage
- Raised per-project rate ceiling
- Invoicing and custom terms
- Security review and DPA

Included with every plan
There is no capability to withhold. The managed edge runs the MIT repository, so the difference between the plans is volume, not features.
The whole coordination surface. Claims so two agents never edit one file, live presence and focus, and typed review gates the engine enforces rather than an agent choosing to ask.
Hybrid search, all five legs. Dense, lexical, hot, entity and graph, fused by reciprocal rank fusion and reranked by a cross-encoder. Every hit names the legs that matched it.
Memory that ages. Per-kind salience decay, reinforcement on recall, and a daily job that consolidates ageing summaries into durable semantic reflections.
Secret redaction at ingest. A regex pass over 25+ credential patterns, then an async LLM review for novel formats, with a triage queue for anything it escalates.
OAuth 2.1, or a scoped key. A full authorization server so an MCP client connects without a pasted key, with scopes that deny by default and device-level revocation.
The source, under MIT. Self-host the entire substrate on a Cloudflare account you own. No licence key, no usage reporting, no feature gate.
Compare plans
Free covers the entire substrate at one project. Usage lifts the caps and bills what you used. Enterprise raises the rate ceiling and moves you onto invoicing.

Your questions, answered
The metered call is refused with a 402 and nothing is billed — Free fails closed on purpose, so an agent loop cannot run up a bill you did not agree to. The counters reset on the first of the calendar month in UTC. Upgrading to Usage lifts the cap immediately.
Start free. Move to metered when the agents earn it.
One project, no card. If self-hosting is the answer instead, the guide is the same click.
